The Visual Rehabilitation and Technology Expo (VRATE) will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025 at the Ability 360 Campus, 5031 E. Washington St, Phoenix, AZ. I am greatly honored that I’ve been invited to be one of this year’s speakers. Medicare Open Enrollment will be in full swing, Thanksgiving will be in less than 2 weeks from that date, all of which means that scammers will be having a field day and we’re their targets.

I’ll be discussing the various types of scams, the scams most prevalent around the holidays, and, most important, ways to protect yourself and those you love. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there. VRATE is always a fun and interesting event. Mark it on your calendar. It’ll assuredly be worthwhile.
